Would you go as far as Steve Garcia and Arturo Vidales did in San Antonio, Texas? These two men led the San Antonio Police Department on a citywide high speed chase on April 1, 2009, and it was no April Fool’s Day Joke. 

The Louis Vuitton associates at the La Cantera Neiman Marcus are great people. Remember my post, David Yurman Cable Bracelets , where I talked about my friend Sarah and her LV purchase? It was at this location. And I hope my lovely LV sales associates are okay! 

So, here’s the low-down on the chase. Mr. Garcia and  Mr. Vidales come into the Neiman Marcus with fake guns and hold up, who I assume is the only one at the Louis Vuitton counter with the fake gun.  They stole nearly $8,000 worth of Louis Vuitton purses.  From the pictures it looked like some Speedy bags, so they snatched up quite a few to make it to $8,000. 

After they snatched the bags they led the San Antonio Police Department on a 21 mile chase through San Antonio at nearly 100 miles per hour. They were caught, and taken to jail.  Garcia and Vidales now face roberry charges.
