Priortize To Get Rid of Clutter

My book is done!! For those of you who didn’t know I wrote a book for a publishing company who found me through my articles on the web and asked if I had ever thought about writing a book. Long story short, they liked what I proposed and Go Organize! Conquer Clutter in Three Simple Steps will be in major book stores this December.

I just did my last author read through cover to cover and now I have to reorder my priorities. What will I do with my extra time? One of the first things I did was go to bed earlier and I got a full 7 hours of sleep. I know they say everyone needs 8 hours, but I personally believe it depends on the person how much sleep they need. I do well on 6 hours.

Which brings me to my favorite thing to chat about—organizing to get rid of clutter. There is not just one way to get rid of clutter. There are some simple guidelines to follow to make it easier, faster and last longer. One simple suggestion I believe in is to work from the inside out in any room in your home. In the bedroom, start in the closet or in a drawer. In the kitchen start in the cupboard or a drawer. You get the idea, no matter what room it is that you want to get rid of clutter don’t tackle the counter, floor or what is on the chairs first.
