Have you started to look for “the” winter coat yet? Still not sure which trends need to be in the coat for everyone to stop, stare, and ask you, “Where did you get that coat? I have to have one.
Look no further then the Tory Burch Annabel Ruffled Leather Coat from Nordstrom. Not only does it cinch in right where every girl needs it to, right at the hip, but it also has the perfect ruffle. The ruffle isn’t so big that you look like a pirate, but it isn’t so small that you have to point out to your friends that there is a ruffle accent on the coat. The coat has even more detail than the ruffles, with buttons on the cuffs.
It is currently in the pre-order stages at Nordstrom. It is $850 and comes in sizes 0-14.
If you you want something a little less trendy then this nipped in ruffled coat, try the Elizabeth and James “Elizabeth” Shrunken Leather Blazer (also from Nordstrom) for $495.

Ever since Johnny’s Lanvin knock-off fiasco on The Fashion Show, I’ve been obsessed with Lanvin. Well, not to say I wasn’t before, but I’ve just started to keep an “eye” on the designs. Keeping an eye the designs brought my attention to these great sunglasses at ShopBop.

ShopBop
Take a look at these Paris Wouter Rounded Sunglasses with metallic accents. What I absolutely adore about these shades are the the gradient coloring of the brown on the rims and side pieces. You can get these glasses in a tortoiseshell or a black. They are currently $300.
Now, my mission is to find a knock off of these sunglasses that look almost as good as the dress Johnny made on for the dress challenge on The Fashion Show!

I stil haven’t fallen in love with the ankle boot. They remind me of something I would wear when I was in second grade. However, I could definitely fall in love with the trend if I could wear the Christian Louboutin Paola 100 Ankle Boots.

Net-A-Porter
Look at that fabulous pattern. It’s a black demi-sheer lace-effect with the signature red soles and 4inch heels. With the sheer material of the boot you’ll have to get some awesome boot socks (yet another reason to buy boots…more fun socks!).
These are one of a kind boots, for sure. They aren’t the run of the mill luxury fashion boots that will cost $300-500. These are a major splurge for even those of you that live and die by the designer label at $1,155 from Net-A-Porter. but, if you have to have them, then… they’re worth it!

This time of year is the absolute perfect time to go out and buy sundresses, skirts, sandals and shorts. That’s why I waited until a week before a big event I have next weekend for the big “almost end of season” sales to start looking for dresses. I went through 5-6 six stores before finally landing at Sak’s Off the Fifth. Lo and behold, there was a fabulous sign out front that said, “Take an Additional 50% off Clearance Items!” I was stoked.
So, after perusing some clothes that I would usually only write about, covet, touch and wish I could afford I picked up a few dresses and went in to the dressing room. I’m sure the girls in the dressing room thought I was nuts. I finally settled on a bright pink Ali Ro dress that was originally priced at $249 (the price at Sak’s) but the red tag said $103. So, holy cow! $56 with tax. How fabulous! Ali Ro is my new favorite person. Love, love love.
But, if you can’t make it to the Sak’s Off Fifth where I found this dress…head over to Bluefly.com and take a look at any of their Ali Ro selections. My favorite is this Hibiscus Sateen and Battenburg Lace Shift Dress. I know it seems like I love shift dresses (the moo moo look) but who doesn’t want to be comfortable? Adding a great pattern and pleats is a great way to get around that shift style that usually needs some type of accessory (like a belt or scarf) to make it work for some body types.

Who says the summer is all about showing off what your mama gave you? I’m a firm believer in covering up a little bit and mixing and matching styles. One day I’ll wear a cami and capris and the next I’ll wear a cardigan and pants. This also goes for skirts. Of course I have short mini skirts for the summer, but I also have long flowy summer skirts!
Bloomingdale’s
You can always wear a cute tube top or tank top with the skirt! a bright and airy tank would go perfect with this Lauren by Ralph Lauren Aureole Full Skirt from Bloomingdale’s that is on sale right now for $139.

Remember that summer is a time for no rules and regulations, but I’m going to give you one rule to follow, for your safety. If you are going to be on soft ground, at any time this season, do not wear heels. Wear wedges.
Bluefly.com
And that’s fine with me! Wedges are a very trendy and very fun type of shoe to wear in the summer. And that goes for these Yves Saint Laurent Green Patent Leather Peep Toe Ombre Wedges that you can pick up at Bluefly.com. Not only are they wedges, they’re also peep toe. Two trends in one, score! They have a 4 1/2 inch heel and a 1/2 inch platform to give you some super added height. They are currently $414.39. If you shop this weekend (6/14-6/15) you’ll also get an extra 20% off!

A few weekends ago I was out in the sun with some friends, but I forgot my sunglasses in my car (that happened to be back at home). I made a mad dash for the nearest store that had sunglasses with some friends to find some good (and cheap sunglasses) for the day.
I ended up picking up some fabulous $12 orange sunglasses that now are permanently attached to my face during the drive home. These glasses are fun, they’re gaudy, glitzy, and glam, but not the type that I usually pick up. I’m usually that girl that gets the black or brown sunglasses.
Neiman Marcus
But, you have to break from your mold every now and then! Have fun! Do something different! It’s summer time! Take a risk! Try out these Dior Diorissma Sunglasses from Neiman Marcus for $295. They’re plastic, so be careful that the dog doesn’t get a hold of them or they’ll break. The red is just fantastic for the risk taker in all of us.

Dana Levy, a fabulous jewelry designer who graduated from the University of Texas-Austin (Hook ‘em Horns!) is celebrating her second anniversary of her jewelry line, Dana Rebecca Designs by giving away one of her most popular pieces.
These Julianne Himiko Star Earrings in Turquoise are up for grabs between today and June 18th. To get a hold on these lovely earrings all you need to do is to hop on over to her website and register to win. Take a look at her other jewelry while you’re at it as well. I’ve found some amazing pieces that would be great for the summer season.
The earrings are worth $750 and are super fun. I love the stars (this coming from a girl who wore star earrings to work today…) have a total of .2 carats and is made of 14k white gold.

Until recently I was not sure how I felt about zebra print shoes and handbags. This weekend I went shopping with some friends. We pick up some white pencil skirts and pink ruffled tops, but were not sure what to wear with the skirt. I mentioned some black pumps or something very simple to make sure not to detract from the outfit. However, I was sorely mistaken.
One of my friends suggested zebra print pumps. These Zebra Nero Blanco Pumps from Giuseppe Zanotti would be a great choice with any bright top and skirt, like the ones we found. They have a 4 1/2 inch heel and a satin upper with a bit of of a platform sole. I particularly adore the red heel. They are $440 from Zappos.com.
